Feminists are always angry

Congratulations to whomever invented this strategy to silence people. Saying to someone “don’t play the victim”, “you are exaggerating”, “you are being heavy” (I have been told this even by a woman when denouncing a sexist situation, as I wrote in a previous post), “why are you always so angry”, is a very effective way to silence the person who is denouncing something wrong. Those who use this tactic do so because they feel uncomfortable, and for this reason focus on the form to devalorise the content.

And why do men feel so uncomfortable to see an angry woman? Because they were used to see us as subordinate, innocent and naive.

P.S. It goes the same for racism. Cf comments as “black women are always angry”, “races don’t exist”, and so on.
