Getting to know the principles of non violent communication

Just bought this book about non violent communication, an approach developed by Marshall Rosenberg. According to Wikipedia, it’s “a process of interpersonal communication designed to improve compassionate connection to others”. (I love that outside school and work I can cite Wikipedia! Ihihi!).

Two very good friends told me they benefitted a lot from learning how to apply this approach. One of them told me that not only a relationship she wanted to improve did improve, but she also changed the view she had on this person and on the relationship she has wit her. You cannot change other people but you can change yourself, and by doing so you can affect the other person. Sounds like magic. Will see if it works.
