w green actions taken and community work and so on. I will start now – I haven’t bought any piece of new clothing since 12 August, I only buy second hand clothes now. I have bought shoes though. Today is October 31, so this makes 80 days without buying clothes made by children or adults working as slaves and without producing extra waste.
Speaking of waste, I also haven’t ‘purchased’ any new plastic bag since I came back from Palestine, which unfortunately is very far from being plastic-free. A friend once called the view of a flying plastic bag “Palestinian beauty”, referring to the movie American beauty.
